Because FowlVoice isn't signed with an Apple Developer certificate, macOS will show a couple of security prompts. This is expected for indie Mac apps. Follow the five steps below and you'll be running in under a minute.
Open the DMG and drag to Applications
Double-click the downloaded .dmg file. A window appears. Drag the FowlVoice icon into the Applications folder shortcut on the right.

macOS blocks the first launch
Double-click FowlVoice in your Applications folder. macOS will show this alert. It's expected. Click OK and move to the next step.
“FowlVoice.app” cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
Your security settings allow installation of only apps from the App Store and identified developers.
Allow it in System Settings
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security. Scroll to the Security section. You'll see a message that FowlVoice was blocked — click Open Anyway, then authenticate with Touch ID or your password.

macOS asks one final time. Click Open Anyway.

Why does macOS show these warnings?
Apple requires developers to pay $99/year for a Developer Program certificate that “notarizes” apps. FowlVoice isn't notarized yet, not because it's unsafe, but because we haven't enrolled in that program. Gatekeeper warns you about any app that lacks this certificate, which is standard for many indie Mac apps. Your audio never leaves your device.
